“Underwater” is the fourth studio album by Italian Progsters AURA and comes 7 years after the last discographic effort. They play a combination of styles summarized under the Progressive Metal genre. Their music features odd time signatures and dynamic tempo changes, dreamy melodies, heavy guitars and clean vocals. With their new album “Underwater” AURA are ready to wrap you in their incredible universe made of intense melodies, dreamy atmospheres and the usual great technical skills. This album represents the culmination of a career that has been going on for over 25 years and that has led them to play on important stages in Italy and not only. The album value is enriched by the great work on mastering at Domination Studio by Simone Mularoni and the evocative cover artwork realized by Annalisa Di Verniere who was able to materialize the band’s intimate universe made of intense melodies and dreamy atmospheres. “Underwater” will be out on September 30th, 2022 and it can only charm those who love bands from Porcupine Tree and Opeth to God Is An Astronaut and Leprous. The time machine has been turned on, now it’s up to you to get on board.

AURA are an Italian Prog Metal band formed in 1996. The band is currently signed to My Kingdom Music. With this label AURA released their debut album called “A Different View From The Same Side” in 2008. Now, with a new album titled “Underwater”, they are ready to wrap you in their incredible universe made of intense melodies and dreamy atmospheres. The album will be out on September 30th, 2022. Between 2011 and 2019 the band released two full-lengths called “Deliverance” (2011) and “Noise” (2015) with Spider Rock Promotion. In its history the band took part in many live events: Metal Battle final at Transilvania Club (Milan – Italy) , iTim Tour broadcasted through Rock Tv, Agglutination Metal Festival (1998 and 2011, Italy) – Pictures of Prog festival (2011) and they are ready to burn the stages again and again…
