It’s a song that we really care about that talks about the Nothing that grows stronger every day, inspired by The final dialogue in “The Neverending Story” (a fantasy movie from 1987 which marked our childhoods), that is unfortunately way too actual still nowadays.
The lyrics talk about different things on different levels and, depending on your personal experience and sensibility, it May reso ate in a different way: the modern society’s rush to self-destruction, the fact that we are more connected and more alone than ever, the struggle with addiction, the end of a relationship and suicida thoughts.
