THE LU SILVER STRING BAND
release
“Rock’n’Roll Is Here To Stay”
out on October 15th 2019

“Right now, I feel deeply inspired. My new outlook on life has given me a lot of positive energy that is flowing into the songs.” – Lu Silver

This time THE LU SILVER STRING BAND went into the studio with the clear intention of making a wild rock’n’roll record, influenced by blues, soul and a strong pub-rock vibe. They had fun cutting a new version of “No More Time”, a song that Lu Silver wrote for the debut album by Small Jackets, as well as a take on Steve Wright’s “Hard Road”, a pure but sadly long-forgotten rock’n’roll song. The Stones, Flamin’ Groovies, Count Bishops, Status Quo, Frankie Miller, Faces and Tom Petty are just some of the artists that inspired the band.
