Wolves and Vibrancy Records is proud to announce the signing of Hypnodrone Ensemble, an experimental and atmospheric space rock collective formed by Aidan Baker (Nadja) and Eric Quach (thisquietarmy), along with the drummers David Dunnett, Jérémie Mortier (Alice in the Cities, Nearest Gas Station), and Felipe Salazar (Caudal).
Titled “ Plays Orchestral Favourites”, the follow-up to 2015’s second album “The Shape of Space” was recorded as a nine-piece group featuring the contributions of Simon Goff (Molecular, Bee And Flower) on violin, Duchamp on baritone guitar, Felix-Florian Tödtloff (ex-Sun Worship) on bass, and Diego Ferri on synths. Mastered by James Plotkin, this new album sees the collective travelling thru psychedelic terrains like space rock and kraut rock, meshing hypnotic and powerful rhythms with droney and ambient guitar textures.
