Quebec, February 25, 2020 – Palissade announces the release of their self-titled debut LP to be launched on February 28, 2020, at the Scanner Bistro (291 Rue Saint-Vallier E, Quebec). The Two first singles of the upcoming album is already available through Palissade Bancamp page. Here, the band first music video “M’Éloigner”…

The Palissade LP presents eight post-punk songs with heavy cold wave influences, some energetic and danceable songs, and others cold and introspective. The melancholic soundscapes, ethereal vocals and frantic rhythms intertwine to create the distinctive sound signature of the band. Recorded at Pantoum in the summer of 2019, the album represents Palissade’s most accomplished work. The complete listen of the album is available for the press in the following link.
—————-

Based in Quebec City (Canada), Palissade offers French post-punk with cold wave and touching pop overtones inherited from the 80’s. Being both dark and energetic, the group offers a hypnotic, cold, yet accessible universe. While deeply anchored in their influences, the band’s sound stays resolutely current.
With band members Thomas Denux-Parent (lyrics, vocals, guitar,) Catherine Roussel (synths) and Martin Labbé (bass guitar), Palissade made a place for themselves as a staple of Quebec City’s local underground scene. The young trio recently had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of the best bands of the genre (Trisomie 21, She Past Away, The KVB). Palissade released the EP Éclats in 2017 and their first full length LP PALISSADE in 2020.
