ONIOROSHI / Shrine

The new album “Shrine” is the result of meticulous research into sound and structure, as the three musicians seek to go beyond the threshold, to create new sensations for the listener. Lasting 54 minutes and featuring 3 tracks, the album retains the same influences that characterize Onioroshi’s sound, buttakes the experience to a whole new level of complexity and depth.
Likethe first album, it was recorded, mixed and mastered at Dunastudio by Andrea Scardovi and will be available from
February 21 on vinyl, CD and all streaming platforms viathe Bitume Prodslabel.

The three Italian members of Onioroshi first met in early 2014 while playing in the Kimono Lights project: an independent
dream pop-shoegaze band that recorded two albums and an EP in three years.
At the beginning of 2018, this band came to an end, and in the months that followed, Onioroshi’s debut album was created:
“Beyond The se Mountains” was recorded, mixed and mastered at Andrea Scardovi’s Dunastudio by Ivano Giovedi. The album cover is a hand made work of art by Thomas Raimondi, the visual artist who created Motorpsycho’s Here Be Monster VoI.II artwork.
But justas the band was trying to find its place in the music industry, the pandemic hit the music world and forced them to
change their plans. Inearly 2020, Onioroshi began work on a new album, investing the next three years giving shape to what is truly their idea of music, creating something more structured and profound than their first album.
