Hobby is a five-piece band from Paris (even though they all come from different countries). Last year, this group of friends released a split tape with… themselves, under their previous moniker Deaf Parade; an offbeat way to celebrate the transition towards their new project.
This 7” EP is an affirmation of their new sound, striking a solid balance between joyful nonchalance, jangly guitars and bursts of slacker rock backed by a relentless bass guitar and subtle back-ing vocals (from Erica, who you might recognise as one half of Special Friend).
