DARK SIDE BRIGHT SIDE: New single / video by the forthcoming debut LP “Firehead”

After the release of the single “The Painter Of Ghosts” in March 2022, Berlin based djent / progressive metal band Dark Side Bright Side propose themselves again with a new song entitled “Firehead” which will be included in their forthcoming debut self-titled concept album.

Firehead is an ode to Marco’s (our composer) mother, who struggled with cancer for many years. This song is a one of a kind in the whole album, due to its very personal meaning. The lyric is a collection of literal and metaphorical thoughts and emotions that Marco had during the last weeks of her life. The title of the track is a reference to her red hair as well as her fierce personality.
