dirishu6 is a band formed in Dijon, France, in July 2017. After two solid EPs (‘draft’ released in May 2018 and ‘ß’ in December 2018) and a change of line-up, dirishu6 consolidated their blend of shoegaze and noise pop with a third eponymous EP. The six new tracks still feature ethereal guitars recalling bands such as Slowdive (Le Gouffre) but also heavy distorted guitars with indie pop melodies (Ritournelle). The vocals are in French this time around, which contributes to making dirishu6’s sound resolutely unique.
