I Bent Trees Society sono una band Rock alternative sarda che si è formata nell’ambiente della musica  underground del Logudoro. I fondatori sono Giuseppe (chitarra e voci) e Nino (basso, arrangiamenti e  produzione), ai quali si aggiunge Luigi (chitarra e voce solista), conosciuto grazie ad amici comuni della  scena locale e Riccardo alla batteria. L’immagine che i loro pezzi vogliono trasmettere – strettamente  legata al nome della formazione – è quella degli alberi piegati tipici del paesaggio rurale della Sardegna,  di quegli alberi che ci provano, ma non riescono a crescere dritti. Il nome della band esemplifica in  maniera enigmatica il paesaggio e la comunità. La society è la personificazione di un aspetto paesaggistico: gli alberi rimangono fermi, sterili, non crescono. Quando nei testi compare il nome del  gruppo, c’è il riferimento a questa realtà parallela. Il 31 marzo 2023 pubblicano il loro primo omonimo  album interamente autoprodotto, distribuito digitalmente e su CD, anticipato dal singolo “Minetime”, seguito poi da una piccola tournee estiva in giro per la Sardegna.
